
Thomas H. Wright III
Thomas Hill Wright, III is a partner at the law firm Siegel Siegel & Wright, and heads up the civil litigation division. Most recently, Mr. Wright has established the herbal incense compliance and testing division of Siegel Siegel & Wright in order to provide both retailers and manufacturers of herbal incense and incense related products such as AM-2201, kava kava, kratom and others with the highest degree of compliance with both federal and state laws. He has appeared on local and network news regarding the recent temporary federal ban by the DEA on March 1, 2011, which made JWH-018, JWH-073, CP-47,497, JWH-200, and cannabicyclohexanol illegal chemicals.
Mr. Wright has experience handling a wide variety of cases including: family law, divorce, personal injury, domestic violence injunctions, corporate contractual matters, patent infringement, entertainment law, felonies, misdemeanors, drug crimes, sex crimes, juvenile crimes and now, herbal incense.
Attorney Profile
Originally from Forest Hills, NY, Mr. Wright relocated to South Florida with his family in 1985. He has an extremely diverse background having studied mechanical engineering at both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Miami. He then pursued expertise in both digital and analog recording arts at Miami-Dade Community College before transferring to Florida State University where he sought degrees in both English and Business. Mr. Wright worked as Editor I for the Florida House of Representatives during the notorious reapportionment of Florida before seeking his Juris Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School where he assisted the law school in becoming one of the most technologically advanced schools in the country.
In addition to studies in the United States, Mr. Wright had the opportunity to study law in London, England through Notre Dame University, and in Nice, France through Hofstra University where he had the unique honor of studying under U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Mr. Wright is married to P. Kathryn Wright, an examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and recently celebrated the birth of his daughter Adelyn.
